games encounter problem

I have an HP PAVILION with winows xp,suddenly games I
never had a problem with freeze with the message that the
game has encountered a problem and needs to close.I have
uninstalled and reinstalled with no different results.
 
What game?
What model Pavilion?
Have you updated the system's drivers, video drivers, Windows XP, etc?

Try running the games in COMPAyiblility mode for 98 or
whatever man...Right clik and choose compatibility..
whatever os /:P
