Whilst playing games, can be half an hour, an hour or
even two, they will halt for a second I will get a vey
quick flash of the blue screen of death and then my
system will shut down and re-boot.

I cannot read the blue screen as if flashes up and
instantly disappears as the system re-boots.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what this might be
or where (if it does) a txt file or log of the blue
screen will be on my system so i can read it.

Cheers

If you go to System in the Control Panel, then go to the Advanced Tab, then
to Startup and Recovery. There's a box there called "automatically
restart". Uncheck that and it should no longer reboot the system.

You might want to check in Control Panel / Admin Tools / Event viewer, and
see if any error messages were left in there too.

It's most likely caused by a driver - so updating them would be your first
bet, they'll be downloadable either from individual component manufactures
or from your computer builder website. Usually the former. Video and sound
are the usual culprits.

If you need to work out what's in your system hardware wise, I've got a
quick guide on how to work that out on my Windows site (URL below).

It's then basically a case of going to their website, downloading a program
and installing it.
