Hi Folks

Medieval Total War II, was installed on the Administrator desktop, fine no
problems there. When you switch to the guest desktop, and the Medieval
Total War II, disk is in the drive, it tries to install the game, then it
realises that the game and all its components are already installed and
stops the installation process. So I have tried installing Medieval Total
War II, on the guest desktop but it won't let me as it quite rightly says it
is already installed. Is there any way to stop it from trying to install,
when you activate other user desktops other than the administrator one.
TIA.

Most games these days have an option to install for "all users" during
setup. Typically it is checked by default.

Does the game work on another account? It may be an issue the game has with
the 'guest' account, which is locked down slightly more than a typical
standard user account.

Hi Paul Smith

Yes the game works on the guest account, like I say it is just annoying when
you activate the account and the disk is in the drive the stupid thing tries
to install and then says hang on a sec its already installed, and stops
trying to install it.
