Hopefully this is the right area to put it. Anyway that site that is used to
see if a game is compatible for your computer, it isn't working right for
some reason all it scans is Company of Heroes, all the others do not work for
some reason. I'm just wondering how to fix that and if its only me.

it looks as if the site is setup(unless there is a download someplace) to
scan individual games.

there is a search bar on the left hand side of the site use that to search
for other games you wish to test...the company of heroes game seems to be the
default one for the time being...

i have been testing the site to see how it works and what it does exactly.
if you search for specific games and test for those it should tell u the
minimum req for that particular game and the recommendations for it, and
places your computer on a scale for the game...also giving you the hardware
configuration of your computer.

i dont know what other games your trying to test, but you are correct it
seems to go back to company of heroes when it scans....so now you know its
not just you.

ill see if i can either find a similar site or try to contact the ones to
maintain the site(i suggest you do this also). if i can find a diff site or
get site maintanance to fix the problem, ill post it here.

ok, i havent been able to find anything and i have been searching for several
hours... since they usually give you the minimum and recomended specs for
computer to be able to run a given game on the box(labeled on the back
usually), i suggest that you use belarc advisor (go to www.download.com and
search for belarc) to check your system configuration.

it wont tell you if you can run a particular game but when it scans your
computer you will be able to tell if your computer meets minimum requirements
or not.

if you computer meets minimum req you should be able to play the game keep
in mind that you may still have to download updates for the game to play on
your system and even update the drivers for your hardware this will help you
in being able to play more games on your system or to let you know if you
need to upgrade....

also somegames dont work with some video cards(yes even newer ones)so also
keep that in mind specialy when purchasing a game...let me know if this helps
you out at all
