When trying to run the Direct X Diagnostic Tool, to troubleshoot a game
problem, I receive the following error message:
Dxdiag.exe-Bad Image
The application or DLL c:\windows\system32\dxdiagn.dll is not a valid
windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette

And

DxDiag Error
Error: Could not load DXDIAGN.DLL

The file does exist in the listed folder.

Tried to download Direct X again and receive the message that the newest
version is already installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick J.
