Game port to com port

We have a client that is using foot pedals that connect to a game port.
We need to convert them to a COM port. I am waiting to see if the
manufacturer has a wiring diagram for the com port, but they don't know
if they do or not.

Any and all help is appreciated
 
easier to buy a cheap sound card OR get a game port (PCI bracketed) if you
have the option from the mainboard. Maybe gameport to USB would be more
feasable.

Find a usb gameport adapter or put in a game port. I believe game
ports are analog and com ports are digital.
