Hi Guys,
Is there a way to password protect any applications or games on win XPHome
to keep others from using them while you are away?
Ron

If you are the only user that is also administrator on the computer you can
configure NTFS permissions on any folder to prevent other users from gaining
access assuming you are using the NTFS file system as shown in the drive
properties in Windows Explorer. See the link below on how to configure NTFS
permissions in XP. You can restrict other users that are administrators but
they would have the ability to undo the restrictions if they knew how to. If
a user has no permissions to a folder via individual or group permissions
and the files in it then he can not access it's contents or run an
application in the folder. Usually you can configure permissions on the
folder and the files will inherit the folder permissions. --- Steve
