Overclockers UK and GAME have partnered up to bring the PC Master Race back to the high-street!

Announcement Thread over at OCUK

GAME, the UK’s leading video games retailer, and Overclockers UK, the UK’s leading PC gaming hardware specialist, have joined together in a partnership that sees an extensive range of exclusive gaming PCs, components and accessories available in selected GAME stores* and online at GAME.co.uk/pcgaming, from Friday 4th December.

Customers will also be able to benefit from GAME’s range of specialist services to make PC gaming more accessible – they can trade in old products towards PC hardware, spread the cost with GAME Finance and earn 2% back on every purchase with the GAME Reward scheme.

Wow, that's a surprise! Given how most people own a PC, it surprises me how difficult it is to get hardware for them on the high-street (SD cards and so on aside). I wonder what the pricing is going to be like? Same as OCUK?

What a great idea! I would head to the Trafford Centre to check it out... if it wasn't hell on earth at this time of year ;)

No idea on pricing tbh, but yeah It needs to be competitive.

As soon as I saw it was at the Trafford Centre I thought of you two, you must go and report back at once! :D

@Becky Yeah I can imagine that place would be murder right about now! Rather you than me.

It would be excellent being able to go to a local GAME to get you high end components instead of online. Hope it goes well.

A good way for OC to get more PC's sold on the high street & a good link up for Game?
Game can sell the latest all action game with the promise it will work on this pc!!
Did Time Computers years ago not have a similar link up with the high street??

As soon as I saw it was at the Trafford Centre I thought of you two, you must go and report back at once! :D

Maybe in January after the sales madness has died down. We tend to go in the evening, it's far quieter then. God I sound like a right old woman don't I?!
