Someone on this list a while back turned me on to DlgXRSizer for
defining the windows explorer size and search functions. It works great.

However, I had to reinstall and re-register the program after a major
system crash a few months ago, but now I get a popup during bootup
saying that the program has been in use for 50+ days, and that it would
be shut off soon, and that I needed to register the program.

When going to their website, or emailing support it gets either bounced
back with an erroneous message to use the support page on their website,
and/or when I GO to the website (www.gajits.com), it just gives a
'Please type the website address' error message.

Are these guys out of business?

Anyone else use this software?

Thanks,

Greg

Apparently, that particular web site no longer exists
and the software author no longer wishes to offer his
product. Nothing you can really do about it.

OK, so how can I tweak the 'save as' (etc.) popup windows in explorer to
do things like:

1) have icons for my favorites on the left side of the window?
2) expand the window by default so I can actually READ the files?
3) save the sort by date and detail as a default?

etc. etc.

I HATE the wimpy default XP settings.

Thanks,

Greg

1) TweakUI for XP
Common Dialogs
Places Bar

If TweakUI is not installed on your system, then download it from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp
Note: V2.10.0.0 needs at least Windows XP SP 1

2) No

3) No

Thanks, I already use TweakUI, but I also want to tweak the default
popup window size, as well as keep the setting for list/detail/date
modified.

I'll keep searching for the settings somewhere.

You are not the only one that can't read these, it's bloody infuriating!
Let us know if you find a fix...
