Gainward Gforce 7950GT

Hi,

I have a problem with the 7950GT graphics card.

Using any Vista driver I cannot use turn off display or hibernate, whenever
the screen is reactivated or the PC woken up the display shows diagonal
lines i.e. it is being run above its capacity,

If I use an XP driver this problem goes away but the system is unstable.

Any hints please?

What driver release are you using? The latest Beta drivers from NVIDIA are
the 100.64 drivers.

Hi,

I am currently using 97.46, I have tried 100.64 but have the same issue on
both.

My PC is normally on 24/7 and remembering to switch off the monitor is
getting a little tedious.

Incidentally until last week I was running Vista RC1 64bit and I did not
have the same issue, I am now running Home Premium 32 bit due to some
essiantle hardware not having 64 bit drivers yet.

Hi,

I have re-installed 100.64 and switched offthe Aero interface, system now
appears to work OK.
