GA-890FXA-UD5 & mugen 2

Hi,
There are problems with mounting Scythe Mugen 2 cooler on GA-890FXA-UD5
or not?

That motherboard has a cpu socket type AM3 and the Scythe Mugen 2 is listed
as compatible with AM3 so it will probably fit. However, I have a similar
motherboard and the two heatsinks near the socket are quite close. When I
installed a 3rd party cooler I had to trim a few millimeters off the plastic
mounting bracket so it wouldn't be touching the mb's heatsinks.

Do you have the motherboard in hand? If so find out how much space you have
and then compare to the dimensions of the cooler (130 x 100 x 158 mm).

The main problem in this case is the back side of mainboard. The screws
of MB's hot-pipes may clash with the metal plate - the part of the cooler.
