I really like this program, its accuracy in detecting spam is excellent.

What's new...

version 1.20 build 170

Changed: ability to choose either to delete or not to delete spam emails
when the auto-mode is enabled.

Added: sound notification when a new email comes.

Added: if the auto-mode is enabled and SpamCombat is minimized to the
system tray, the program icon changes when a new email comes to the mail
server.

Fixed: on some computers when trying to check incoming email, the program
displayed "Could not convert variable of type (null) into type (integer)"
error message and closed with a Windows notice that a log file is being
created.

The "Debug Mode" option in the General settings is renamed to the "Enable
Message Cache". If this option is checked, the program saves the ID of
processed messages to the cache on your hard disk.

I've been "training" SpamCombat for most of the day. With the volume of
spam my account is receiving these days, it should pretty much know what
it's doing by the end of the weekend. I'll give it a trial run in automatic
mode in a couple of weeks and hope for the best...

Ah, that's what I've been waiting for...
I've been using it for a couple weeks now. The only issue I had with it was
that it wouldn't auto-check the e-mail without automatically deleting what
it thought was spam, and it still hasn't quite "learned" well enough for me
to activate that.
