Lots of good info at the site below:

Microsoft lists SP2 conflicts

I seem to remember that someone wanted to block
SP2 from being downloaded. MS is now providing a fix
to do just that.

As stated by me in another thread, MS SPs are designed to break system
setups. This makes the consumer evermore dependent on MS for fixes, as
they sweat through their behind schedule office work, waiting for MS to
get back from the two week lunch they've had since they made this RTM.

One glaring conflict, is AutoCAD 2000, 2002, and 2004 having FTP issues
with SP2, and that piece of productivity software is extremely
expensive; too bad MS doesn't think about the costs of the consumers who
make them rich!

So, it's now up to Autodesk to fix their products. It's not like they
weren't aware that it was coming. They had months to get a patch ready!

BTW: I use AutoCad 2004!

Now what is your real concern?
That you have a bad product from Autocad and they may not
fix it? Welcome to the world of hyped up marketing driven
capatalisum. So sad, too bad.

How about those poor creatures that bought millions of
wireles garbage.
How about the lot of bad disks from 2003.
How bad chip sets.
How about mobo's that break after a few months.
And the Video Card insanity????

It's hardware and applications that are messing
everything up.
If the OS says NO then they will have to fix them or go
away.
Long over do and we need more OS checking to prevent them
from even getting installed.

Next time read the fine EULA fine print.
Half of all people are lairs and the other half are
cheaters. And all of us are stupid.
So eat your own Karma and get a clue.
Live in the now.
That's how the world works.
