FYI: for those with PowerDVD 6/7

Ok, I know powerdvd can be a bit flaky under Vista but for those that might
not know, if you download Microsofts DECCHECK utility (it checks for
decoders under MCE2005) allows you to set a default decoder. So if you
install PowerDVD and use the utility you can set it's decoder to be default
instead of the somewhat not so hot Microsoft one provided in Vista.

It´s worth to try because I like Power DVD
