Dialog Box Assistant v1.1 (beta 1)

Thanks, Wayne. This strikes me as a very obscure find. Even 1.01 was not all
that simple to locate. This is the first news I've heard about v1.1. For
those who don't recollect the story: the company's homepage currently houses
only a later, payware incarnation.

I'm seeing this one to maybe qualify as rareware, and would not even be
too surprised if it eventually fell off the Simtel location. In which case,
I wonder if one of the rareware refugee houses might consider taking a
copy into protection. Admittedly, I post all this without doing an actual
inet search for the zip name that Wayne has found, but nevertheless...

What does Dialog Box Assistant do?

Who cares?

It's version 1.1, and there's the file, what more do you want?

Ah, okay. It's for your open/save as common dialogs. It provides a history
list of recently used folders and files. Via two small icons on those
dialogs, with a dropdown list. So that you can instantly change path for
the file save or open, to some directory location recently used. For my
part, I cannot function longer than about thee minutes without a program
that provides this.

I don't know if there is any description page out there on the web, with
a screenshot. The company is still in business, and would have one for
its current payware version, but I assume the program would have changed
enough that it would not be worthwhile to look there.
