FYI people, if you are going to post a question here put your system specs
so people can have a clue how to advise you. Nobody is going to be able to
help you if you don't tell them what kind of computer you are using! Go into
as much detail as you possibly can, and state whether you overclock your CPU
or GPU.

CPU: Manufacturer, model and speed, i.e. Intel Pentium4 3GHz
Motherboard: Brand, model and version number if possible, i.e. Gigabyte
GA8IPE1000 Pro2
RAM: Type and amount, i.e. PC3700 2x1GB sticks
Video card: Brand, model and onboard RAM, i.e. Sapphire 9600 Pro 128MB
Audio card: Brand and model, i.e. Creative Audigy X-Gamer
Operating system: type and version, i.e. Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 1

Driver version numbers and DirectX version are also useful, especially if
not up-to-date.
Also, any firewall or anti-virus products are good to know, as they can
sometimes cause problems.

Now you're assuming too much... anybody who's bothered to search this
newsgroup (to find this post) would know to post their specs :-p

A good explanation of why they're not up to date (since they've tried this
already, right?) would be good too.
