Just got a new FX55 San Diego via zipzoomfly. There's no reference to
this chip on amd's web site. When I enter the model# in the search on
their site, it brings up the standard FX55 sledgehammer 130nm chip, even
though it's a diff't model number. Any ideas?
Just want to make sure they sent me the right chip.

Thx.

Check the cpu flags for SSE3. Sledgehammer won't have it. I don't know
what you use in win, but if you boot up linux;
