What is the maximum number of URLs that can be stored under "Favourites"?

Can Favourites be subdivided under different sub-headings? I think I
remember doing that under netscape some years ago. Will doing
that increase the maximum number?

TIA,

Nev.

Didn't I answer this someplace else?

Hi Nev. :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, which really is a
must when asking for help in the newsgroups, but, try the following and see
if it helps:

You can have many more Favorites if you sort them into folders. However,
see the following:

To organize our Favorites into folder easier, try the free utility here:

FavOrg: Free

It also verifies whether your links in Favorites are stll good.

There is no limit that I know of - with the exception of not
being able to use non alphanumeric characters for file names
or in file names, such as < [ # / \ ] { } ~ > , etc.

Hope this helps.

Yes, you did, in "ms.pub.win.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress".
Thank you very much.

However, let me add that the first reply to my post advised "that
I would probably get a more reliable response if I asked in an
Internet Explorer newsgroup, rather than Outlook Express". So I
immediately took that advice. I almost never cross post intentionally.

Let me say also that you and Bruce are two of the people that I see
helping people continuously. So let me thank all you people who
freely give their time to help other users.
