I recently purchased a new NEC Multisync LCD 1760NX and
MSI Nvidia GeForce 4Ti 4800TD-8X 128meg RAMM video card. I
have 2 PC's connected to the monitor via a Linsys switch
box. The PC with Windows 2000 and the GF 4Ti video card
has "fuzzy" text at 1280x1024 72Hz and the older PC only
has a GeForce 2MX-400 32meg RAM video card running Windows
XP Pro and the screen is much clearer.
Any ideas why the W2K is so fuzzy?
Thanks.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're not running the XP
computer above 1024x768?

It's the switch. I bought and returned two linksys KVM switches and still
have the $75 cables used in my quest to overcome the 'fuzziness' at
resolutions over 1024x768. Even my Belkin Omni KVM switch limits me to
1024x768.

If you want to test my theory. Plug your monitor directly into the GF 4Ti
and see what you can see.

Check the suggested optimal refresh rate for your (NEC) LCD monitor; my
LCD monitors all suggest (mandate!) 60Hz.
