Hi,

I recently read that future versions of Outlook will no
longer show images in HTML email messages by default.
This feature is intend to make email more kid-friendly by
blocking adult content in incoming spam messages. It also
stops spammers for snooping on people
using Web bugs.

Any one know if this is true?

While i can't comment on what is coming out and this is not meant to refer
to outlook. I can say that MS is generally making default settings the more
secure choice providing it doesn't interfere with usage. There are lots of
tradeoffs and conveniences that we need to always look at in tests. As a
default, something leaves the machine more secure for those users who may
never enable a particular feature. the user can change it or enable it, but
they should know what the risks are. That is, the user makes the choice.
As far as the next version of Outlook, we all should know soon. I will tell
you it is super by comparison.
