Further customization available for Outlook Today?

Hi,

I have a client who is asking whether there are further customization
settings to tweak the way Outlook Today displays. I'm imagining there may be
some way using VB or custom forms but I haven't a clue how to search for it
on MS knowledgebase.

Specifically, here are the changes he'd like to be able to make:

- Remove Tasks from the view altogether
- Create a split screen view which shows appointments in one column and
email (with autopreview) in another

Is this possible?

it's just an html page, although it is complied in a dll. you can edit it or
make a new one, but it tends to be really slow.
 
Thanks, Diane. What is the dll filename, and where would I find it? I looked
in Docs & Settings\user\application data\microsoft\outlook and local
settings\applications data\microsoft\outlook but wasn't sure what I was
looking for.

I'd like to experiment, even if it does slow down...just so we can say we
tried. :)
