Funny typo, free P4 motherboard

It is not a typo. The purchase price is $75. There are two rebates--one for
$35 and one for $40.

You're right. If you read the terms though, it is physically impossible to
claim both. They each require the UPC, and they specifically state only one
rebate form per envelope. How can one UPC be in two envelopes at the same
time? They also state one rebate per person. So the two rebates seem to
cancel each other out in more ways than one. If you claim one, you can not
claim the other and fully comply with the terms and conditions. It is an
interesting offer though, if there was a way to claim it. -Dave
 
Here's a posting to thread in a AnandTech forum on the subject.

"I had the same question so I shot an email to NewEgg a couple of days ago.
Here is their response;

Dear xxxxxx,

Thank you for your patience and understanding; our Product Support has
informed
us that you will need to send the original UPC along with a COPY of the UPC
and
the invoice, with both forms filled out. Also be aware that they must be
sent in
the same envelope, and BOTH offer numbers must be clearly written on the
envelope as well.

If you read both rebate forms carefully and COMPLETELY (I had to read it
3 times to catch it.), the 2nd rebate says to send in a "copy of the UPC'
and a "copy of the invoice". So, based on that, it will work.
