I get a Hi-Lo-Hi-Lo-Hi-Lo......tone from my computer speaker (small one in the chassis) ramdomly. It seems to be triggered by opening programs, or email, or I don't know. I have scanned the whold computer for viruses (Norton SystemWorks 2003, updated) and found nothing. How do I fix this problem?

On most motherboard, that is the high CPU temerature warning. Next time that it
happens, restart your computer, go into the bios, and find the screen that tells
you the cpu temperature, fan speed, voltages, etc. It's usually called pc
health or something like that.
