Function to determine number of months

If I have a list of employees and their hire dates, what
function would I use to determine if the employee has been
employed for at least 12 months?

one way: Use DATEDIF
=IF(DATEDIF(Date1,Date2,"m")>=12,"at least 12 months","less than 12
months")
