I need a good description, on when to use Inbound Filter ou Outbound Filter
on a Interface. Someone can send me some link or explain?
We can use packet filter on 4 points:
Interface "A" Inbound
Interface "A" Oubound
Interface "B" Inbound
Interface "B" Oubound
I know, that we need to focus to filter the packet after routing, to
minimize cpu usage on a packet that will be filtered out, but i have some
problems with the concept of Inbound and Outbound filters
Example:
A filter: 192.168.75.1/255.255.255.255 (Net A) does NOT send packtes to
192.168.100.1/255.255.255.255 (Net B) on Port 80
Wich is the best interface(s) to put the filter?
