For some unknown reason, my browser now displays all bold characters in
italics as well.

I can't really explain why this is happening.

I just noticed it is happening in other apps too so this may not be the
right forum.

I digress. I can not alter this using accessibility options as far as I
know. I have also attempted to change this in display properties but nothing
is working.

To further clarify what my problem is; when I look at say... CNN.com the
headings come us in bold italics when they should only display in bold.

It is almost like a cascading style sheet is attached to my os...

Odd.

Thanks in advance.

Belay may last. This is ONLY happening in ie 6.0. It is not occurring across
the entire operating system. It is again similar to the reformatting of a
web page by use of a cascading style sheet. The main difference is it is
like it is attached to the browser and is reformatting ALL web pages that I
visit. I did notice an option under accessibility options that would allow
me to attach a CSS sheet to the browser but there is no such page defined.

Bizarre. It is so irritating I am ready to nuke the whole OS. BTW I am
running Win2k Advanced Server.

Any Ideas?.
