fully expanded datasheet form

Hi to everybody,
I am using Access 2003 and I would like to create a fully expanded datasheet
form. The default datasheet forms with no records yet, only display one blank
line for the new record to be entered, and after data entry a new blank line
appears below the last record. I would like to have blank lines for the whole
hight of the form even when no records have been entered yet. Is this
possible?

Why do you want to do this? There may be a better way to achieve what you
want to do.
Are you using a real form or just a table with a subdatasheet?

Here is a possible scenario. You are hosting a conference in a room which
holds 10 people and you want to have 10 lines in your form so that the user
can use a combo box to fill in 10 names from a table containing all the
possible attendees for a conference.
In this case, you would have a number table containing only the values 1 to
10.
Your Conference table would have a VisitorNumber field and using a combo in
your form, you could choose a room number and run an Append query to append
the numbers 1 to 10 from the number table alongside the chosen room number
to the appropriate fields in your Conference table so that the user would
see 10 blank records next to the numbers 1 to 10 and can then use her combo
to fill in the applicant's name. You will see that rather than just adding
10 blank lines which would serve no purpose, you have added data which can
be used in your records
