The main reason that I asked, and another reason why it is very important
that we know the version of Windows being used, is that if it is Windows XP
she may encounter problems reinstalling the SP1 on that OS. Please be
advised that during the install process she may receive an error message
stating that the IE6 SP1 cannot be installed as there is a newer version
already installed. In the event that should that happen, I am providing the
information below to allow her to reinstall the IE6 SP1.
Kelly's site has a fix which changes the IsInstalled flag value to 0. =
For SP1 -
This enables reinstallation of IE.

Just download and double-click, then proceed to reinstall IE.
For SP2 -
If you have SP2, you will first have to uninstall it. Then run the utility
as described above.
Ieinstall.reg simply makes the registry edit that's called for in the 2nd
