full screen

I have the opposite problem. I want to open all new windows full screen.
I'm not just talking about IE, but all new files, folders, programs, etc.
Some open automatically in small windows, and I'm sure there is a setting
that I don't know about to determine how vista handles the choice.

any help would be appreciated.

Well, you could right-click the shortcut, select Properties and choose
"Maximized" in the Run box.
