Hello

I'm expecting bad news on this subject; all that I can find indicates I
can't do this but anything I've found was at least a year old so maybe
something has changed... (plus I can't seem to find a support email
address on ATI's website, what's that about?)

Basically at my church we have a laptop with ATI graphics, as far as I
can tell its using the catalyst drivers. It's used for both playing
videos and running Powerpoint slideshows, and is hooked up to three
projectors for that. The setup I'd like is as follows:

Extended Desktop, so Powerpoint realises there's two monitors and can
run Presenter Mode.
The ability to use ATI theatre mode so videos can be controlled using
the laptop screen and show up fullscreen on the projectors.

It seems this can't be done without setting up two seperate schemes in
the ATI CCC, one in extended desktop for powerpoint, one in clone mode
so that theatre mode fullscreen works - please, someone tell me it's
somehow possible to do this without having to swap schemes. Several
people use the laptop and it needs as few steps as possible to work it.

Thanks in advance for any help....

Theatre mode in extended desktop has been broken for the last few
Catalyst releases. It has been fixed apparantly in the 5.10 release.
