I have two related questions...
First, when I choose Start, Programs in Windows XP, I get a short list of
programs with a little arrow at the bottom that I must click to see all the
programs.
By default, Office works the same way. But in Office I can turn this
"feature" off by choosing Tools, Customize, Options, and checking the
checkbox: Always show full menus.
How can I "Always show full menus" for Windows XP?
Second, in Windows 2000, my Start folder has more program folders than will
display in one long list on the screen. That's no problem, because Windows
2000 automatically displays two columns of my programs when I choose Start,
Programs. If those two columns ever fill up, Windows 2000 probably would
start a third column.
After I solve the first problem, how can I get Windows XP to show multiple
columns of programs and program folders as needed?
Thanks.
