Using full justification seems to result in large spaces between words on a
particular line. Is there any way to correct this?

Full justification is terrible for lines that aren't very long, like
tri-fold brochures, but if you must, and you're willing to fix the "gappy"
lines, you can try this: Select the line and hit Format-->Font. Choose the
Character Spacing tab. From the Spacing dropdown, choose Condensed. Try
typing in a value of .25 or .5 or something like that...

I have used Tools, Options, Compatibility and then checked Do Full
Justification like Word Perfect. Seems to improve things somewhat.

Judicious hyphenation.

Isn't there a way to tell Word to use letterspacing to achieve
justification? Is word spacing still the only thing it can do?
