I am attempting to install a Fujitsu 620c scanner on a Dell GX100
computer with Windows 2000. The Adaptec SCSI card is installed
properly, and the computer sees the scanner, as indicated in the
instructions. However, when I go to install the drivers, they install
OK, but when the scanners installs will not find the INF files. And,
I do not know where the INF files it unzips go unpack to since it is
an EXE that is unpacking the files, not a ZIP file.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Drivers should be installed before connecting the scanner. Then the hardware
wizard will find and install the driver.

Sometimes Setup.exe types expand to %SystemRoot%\Temp.

If there is a INF file it would be in %SystemRoot%\inf which is a hidden
folder.
%SystemRoot% is often "C:\Windows".
Set Windows Explorer to show all files and system and hidden files. Also
show extensions.
