Fuel Tank Formula's For Dip sticks

Could you put the question in the message space and be less economical with
words?

I think I have a strong feeling what you need. Is it possible that you
need an Excel formula to calculate the volume in a tank depending on
the height of the fluid (as measured by a dipstick)?

Is this is so, you need to give some more data. What is its
cross-section (circular, elliptical, rectangular)? Is the tank vertical
or horizontal? If this is a horizontal tank, how are the ends
configured? Are the ends flat or domed? Or even possible, is it a
spherical tank?

In short, the formula to determine the contents of a tank (as measured
by a dipstick) depends on the overall configuration of your tank.

Regards.
