I can't FTP anything. I have a brand new computer and I
think I've enabled all the applicable advanced options
for Internet Explorer, but whenever I try to upload an
image/file to an FTP folder, it won't work. This is
vital, as I operate a few websites and need to be able to
do this, can anyone help me?

I'm using Windows XP and I think the problem might be
with my internet connection. I am using a modem which is
then attached to a Linksys router, which is then attached
to ANOTHER Linksys. I am attached to the first router.
I used to be able to FTP on this computer when we just
had one router, but now I cannot. Can anyone help?

Another problem, which might be the same problem, is that
I can't send any mail through Outlook either. Both
problems started happening at the same time once we
attached the 2nd router.

HELP!

If you're using PPPoE, you should set the MTU to 1492 or less. A lot of
routers use 1500 as the default and that won't work for PPPoE. This
should be in the advanced settings on the router admin page.

Just curious; why are you using two routers anyway? That could also be
causing problems. Which one is acting as your dhcp server, if you're
using dhcp?
