Something has changed recently (possibly via Windows
Update) where attempts to specify a ftp URL using
credentials causes IE to improperly format the path for a
requested file thus making the file unavailable for
download. For example: the URL
ftp://user
[email protected]/dir/file.zip resulted in a
file request for /dir/dir/dir/file.zip to the ftp server.
I verified this using a network sniffer.
Can anyone explain this stupidity?
Thanks
