Currently running 6 networked PC's (one is a DVD player) all running TCP/IP
(all xp pro) with DCHP (from a router) 2 of the PC's run through a gigabit
switch providing a gigbit link the rest are all 100mbit on a separate
100mbit switch (which is connected to the 1gbit switch) all is well with
that.

I have just installed a basic FTP server on my file server (this has the
gbit connection with my main PC) when I access the FTP server I can copy
files from the server to my pc and get no problems, but when I try to copy
large files (100meg or more) from my PC to the FTP server it only copies a
very small amount and then stops. I am using coffee cup FTP client and the
FTP server is Cerberus V2.22.

The DVD player is also a FTP server it has a built in Hard Drive (Kiss
DP508) I can access this via coffee cup and copy files to and from till the
cows come home.

Any ideas as to why the file transfer stops on my File Server PC????

Brilliant. A completely empty post.

His post showed up fine on my computer.
