FTP timestamp and offset Problem

I'm trying to resolve an issue with FTP folders displaying the wrong
timestamp on newly created folders/files on the FTP server. It displays an
incorrect time which isn't even the GMT time. I'm in Hawaii and it shows up
with -20 hours offset. Any ideas? When I look at the properties of the file
its accurate.

Is there any time zone setting problems on the server? If you can reach the
server, would you like to check the setting in the control panel and see
whether it is the right local time in GMT format?

Where is the FTP server? Is it possible that it's 20 hours off from
where you are?
