FTP server in "My Network Places", "@" in username?

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this question. If not, I apologize
in advance:

I'm having trouble adding a FTP server to "My Network Places". I can add
the server to browse anonymously, and it works fine. However, when I try
to add it with my username, it is never formatted right. Usernames on the
FTP server consist of a username, and then "@domain.com" (i.e. <username>@
<domain.com> would be the username) Every time I try to get this done in
"My Network Places", I get the following error:

"Windows cannot access this folder. Make sure you typed the file name in
correctly and that you have permission to access the folder.

Details:
The server name or address could not be resolved."

It then brings up a blank window. In the left "pane" of the window (where
it lists the server details) the server is listed as:

Server:
<domain.com>@ftp.<domain.com>
Username: <username>

It seems that the extra "@" symbol is confusing "My Network Places." Does
anyone have a solution for me? Thanks in advance!

If I understand you correctly, try using this format:

ftp://username:p[email protected]/
