Hi,

I have a D-link router di-704p and it does its job....however besides
demilitarizing my home ip, how can i allow for ppl to access an ftp on my
pc?

Port forward the ftp ports in your router to the IP Address of the computer
on your LAN with the FTP server. Read your router manual for how to port
forward.

For active ftp you only need to forward port 21 on your router.
However, it would not be accessible to those ftp clients (like your
own) which are behind a nat device and need passive ftp.
