Hi all,

I configured a ftp service on a win 2000 server with anonymous
logon disabled.
My problem is that the domain-users should logon using ftp. But none of the
users are allowd to logon. The only users that are actually allowed to
enter ftp are from the domain-admin group.

Has anyone made similar experiences and resolved the puzzle.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I known this problem was already posted, but I did not find any solutions
out there in any newsgroup...

Thank you for the links.
It were the Security Policies for *DCs* that I have to change.
On your DC open 'Administrative Tools'-> *'Security Policies for
Domaincontrollers'* (not 'Local Security Policy')
Expand 'Security Policies'-> 'Local Policies' -> 'User Rights Assignment'.
Double click *'Log on locally'* add users or groups you want to logon via
*ftp*.
The logged on users have access to the ftp-files/folders as declared by your
NTFS-settings for the files/folders.
