Can anybody recommend a freeware FTP program for uploading web pages to an
ISP.

I've used Frontpage to create a site and now want to try it out.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need a utility to synchronize a local folder with a remote
folder via FTP. Are there any such utilities for Windows? I ran across one
called WebPublish, but alas it seems to be a Linux-only program:

www.gnu.org/software/webpublish

If anybody has a local/remote folder sync utility, I'd definitely appreciate
a link.

TIA

Well, check that. I already had FTPSync and just found and downloaded
SynchronEx. I just need to install and try them out. If there are other
good ones for this, I'd still like to hear about them. TIA

This looks like it might do the job:

FTPSync

FTPSync is a tool that will synchronize two FTP sites or local
directories. FTPSync is the easiest way to:

* update your home page or corporate web site
* maintain an off-site backup
* maintain web site mirrors
* etc.

NOTE: Only one-way sync (source to destination) is supported at the
moment.
