FTP error, unknown error

i get this error when i try to connect to an ftp site via
dos. when i use any FTP client, they give me a "socket
error!" i tried to look at the knowledge base, but i
couldnt find anything relating to this issue. any help
would be appriecated.

did it give the winsock error number in the message ? What is it?
