OK... I will try and make this short.
I can not visit any FTP sites through MSIE.6.0.
I get the "page can not be displayed"

I am running a broadband connection.
I can use MSIE to browse the internet w/ http.
I am using Windows NT workstation 4.0.
All MS patches and updates have been installed.
I have AVG anti-virus that has been updated. (scanned
and came up clean)(I have disable this to see if this was
the problem- did not work)
I DO NOT have any firewall software that is installed on
the workstation.
I have the security set to med. in internet options.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

IE displays the page-not-found error message even if the actual error is that the FTP site is full -
ie. the user number cap has been reached. Try again later and see if you can get through. If you use
a separate FTP program (which usually would have better error messages), what does it say?

Andrwew,

I have not tried a different FTP as of yet. The number
of users on this site is not at maximum. (this is a
personal FTP site and I can access it from another system)

I will download cute ftp and see if it gives a more
accurate error.

-thanks
