Have ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 driver and Direct X diagnositics check out fine
(latest) but when trying to run FSX get the following: "The drivers currently
installed for your video card may cause your computer to stop responding when
Flight Simulator is running. Click Yes to search for newer drivers, or No to
continue." and "Flight Simulator is not working with your video card. Verify
that you have the latest video card drivers installed for your video card.
Flight Simulator will now exit." The drivers currently installed for your and
tried everything on Article ID : 925722, Last Review : October 19, 2006,
Revision : 1.2 and still no go. Any ideas?

I also have the same problem- My Laptop (Empower 25004) has the ATI Mobility
9600 video system. I get the same error, Please Help!! Got to Fly soon or
BUST!!!!!

This wouldn't have anything to do with my 747 in FSX looking like it has four
wings yes LIKE AN X wing fighter STAR WARS- it sucks - does it??? The 747 has
had various other starnge visual [rpoblems- for instance not showing its
paint or smoke trailing below it for some odd reason when cruising at 35,000
feet.

hmmm. frustrating - maybe for my long flights I should use FS2004...

What video card are you using? Disable advanced animations in the sim,
the card/system does not seem to have enough resources to display the
flexed wings animation. For the textures not showing (paint) it looks
like memory starvation, FSX is very heavy on resources...
