Having recently purchased a 9500 with Fiey RIP and auto take-up reel for the
same price, that is not too bad at $2500. The service contract is not good
for the printheads, Epson will not cover them because of the Lyson inks. But
it is a reasonable price. It can also be upgraded to a 9500 if anyone would
rather have that, just a firmware change, and flushing the ink system, and
replace the waste ink system.

BTW, I use my 9500 with Mediastreet's G-chrome (G6) inks, which work very
well.

Yes and your message has to do with what?

Epson will and has covered them since new. A service contract IS good
business since the people that do the service charge $385.00 or more
per hour. It is a violation of Federal Law for them Not to cover the
machine because of any third party media or inks that I am using. Good
luck with your off brand inks.
