First off, let me say I really enjoy reading this newsgroup. I've only been
using XP Pro (SP2) for about six months. However, during that period, I
have had ZERO problems. No error messages, no BSOD, no nothing that
would indicate any type of problem. I've used system restore, without
incident, to revert my system back a couple of weeks, messed with the
default setting for my vid card, explored the registry and deleted
references to old programs, lopped off several programs using MSconfig,
and even shut off a bunch of "services" several "hotshot" websites said
were unnecessary. So, my hats off to MS, and if I ever need help, I
know EXACTLY where to direct my newsreader.

And if you weren't using "EasyNews, UseNet made Easy" but instead using OE
(or WinVN) and msnews.microsoft.com you wouldn't have pay extra, beyond
what you pay your ISP, for news service.

Price
$9.98 for 20 Gigabytes or 30 days, which ever comes first.
http://www.easynews.com/

msnews.microsoft.com is FREE.
If your ISP has a news server that would also probably be FREE.
For example, netnews.comcast.net does not cost extra for Comcast customers.

It's called having all newsgroups, reasonable retention, and a reasonable
price. Ain't gett'in that with any ISP news service and I've tried lots of them.

lol........ obviously don't come from Australia then? An ISP wouldn't
survive here if they never offerred a decent (Free too!) news feed.
