This is buggin me ..just recently when i power up the HDD light and power are on constantly but the comp wont boot unless i turn off the power and try again. Sorry this is short but its whats happening. The system is clean and i have reset Bios defaults , any ideas ?????

Have formatted , installed updated drivers to all ...and used half of my meagre 80GB HDD with games ...just defragging now....that was about 4 weeks ago ..problem been here about a week

Try this disconnect the power for the DVD=CD drives then boot-up?

I had the same a while back turned out to be DVD drive:nod:
