I know window freezes have been discussed for ever, but the must be a
site that can help you discover the sorce of computer crashes, any Ideas.
Thanks for your help
Paul

Hi Paul,

Freezes are usually attributed to hardware problems. Eliminate posible
software conflicts first, this can help:

If the problems still occur, then check for updated drivers for your
hardware. Failing that, it is often necessary to test the hardware at a shop
designed for this.

Rick,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Found the page.
Computers are great, but as consumer products they suck. If you buy a TV
washing machine or car, all the components work all together most of the
time, no so the PC.
Thanks for your time.

Yes, but in the products you named, how you bought them is how they remain
(in most cases). Computers, being open to constant modification, both good
and bad, by the owners, do not have that kind of stability. When was the
last time you heard of anyone upgrading the "tuner" in their T.V.?

Hi all,
I'm wondering if anybody can recommend a good tuner upgrade for my TV.
It's been unmodified since the day it was bought, but it's time to bite the
bullet and get dirty hands.
I've heard that a new USB or internal tuner unit might also upgrade the
programs received?
:)
