The host is giving you some rather confusing information. To publish to this
host you would use FTP instead of http. That's easy enough to do and you
just need to choose the appropriate options when publishing (ie: you publish
to ftp://yourdomainname.com instead of
http://yourdomainname.com). Your host
may have special publishing instructions for FTP though most are pretty
standard.
What you need to take into account though is whether or not you've used any
components that make use of the FrontPage Server Extensions. Basically, if
you added functionality that performs some action, such as a search bot or a
form handler, then you're probably using something that requires the FP
Server Extensions and would need to come up with a different way to do what
you wanted to. FP can't remove these features automatically, but under the
Tools | Page Options | Compatibility (I think, though it may be a different
path to get there in FP 2002) you should be able to set an option that says
your not using the fp server extensions. This will gray out any item that
makes use of them and should prevent you from adding them by accident in the
future.
Hope this helps,
